Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based approach that helps individuals learn meaningful skills and reduce behaviors that may interfere with daily life. ABA focuses on understanding how behavior works in everyday situations and uses positive, individualized strategies to support growth, independence, and improved quality of life.
At Flourishing Hearts, ABA therapy is never a one-size-fits-all approach. Services are tailored to each individual’s needs, strengths, and family goals. Therapy may focus on communication, social skills, daily living skills, emotional regulation, and school readiness, always with respect, compassion, and collaboration.
Families are an essential part of the process. We work closely with caregivers to ensure strategies can be carried over into daily routines, creating consistency and meaningful progress beyond therapy sessions. Our goal is to support individuals in developing skills that allow them to participate fully and confidently in their environments.

Start by submitting a contact request on our website. This helps us understand your needs and determine how we can help you. A team member will reach out to you within 24 hours.

After initial contact, you'll receive access to our intake forms. You may need to upload some documents such as insurance cards, referral for ABA services, and diagnostic reports.

After we receive your documents, our team verifies your insurance benefits and determines coverage for ABA services. We will contact you to review benefits, authorizations and timelines.

Once benefits are reviewed, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) completes a comprehensive evaluation to better understand your child's strenghts and needs. This evaluation includes an interview, in-person observation and treatment planning.

Using evaluation reports, we develop an individualized treatment plan with meaningful, client-centered goals. We complete this assessment and submit it for your review within 7 days from in-person contact.
Once the initial assessment has been submitted to insurance, depending on the funding source, we'll receive approval from 7 to 21 days.

Once the treatment plan is approved, we thoughtfully assign a clinical team based on your child’s individual needs, schedule, and service location. Your BCBA and RBT will be introduced to your family prior to the start of services to ensure a strong and comfortable fit.

When staffing is complete, therapy sessions begin, with ongoing supervision and collaboration to support progress. Services include direct therapy by an RBT, weekly supervision by a BCBA/BCaBA, and caregiver training. Services can take place in the home, school, daycare or community.
